Only one remaining doubt in Real Madrid’s XI to face Atalanta

A clearer picture of the XI of stars set to be depended upon by Real Madrid in this week’s UEFA Super Cup has on Sunday been provided.

Real, of course, are primed to return to action this coming Wednesday.

In the club’s first competitive fixture of the new campaign, Los Blancos will lock horns with Serie A outfit Atalanta, in the annual European Super Cup.

Carlo Ancelotti will have the vast majority of his star performers available for selection from the off for the matchup, set to play out in Warsaw, Poland.

And, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, Real’s headmaster intends to make full use of as much.

As per a report from Marca, the Spanish champions’ line-up to face Atalanta is already all-but decided.

The following nine players are considered guarantees to start:

Courtois, Carvajal, Rüdiger, Militão, Mendy, Valverde, Vinicius, Rodrygo, Bellingham.

Headline summer signing Kylian Mbappé, meanwhile, is also considered as a near shoo-in for a starting berth.

So, this leaves just one spot, in the middle of the park.

The one remaining decision on the part of Carlo Ancelotti and his coaching staff therefore comes in the form of whether to make use of Aurélien Tchouaméni or Eduardo Camavinga from the off on Wednesday.
