One member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid managed to complete all but one of his passes during the club’s meeting with Atlético.
The player in question? Dani Ceballos.
Former Arsenal man Ceballos was for his part afforded his latest starting berth this evening, as Real Madrid played host to city rivals Atlético in the Madrid Derby.
And the 28-year-old, amid what has been a superb individual campaign to date, again went on to shine.
Keeping things ticking over in the middle of the park, Ceballos was a reliable outlet for his teammates throughout the 90 minutes, unflappable in possession and pinpoint with his passing.
And it is his efforts in the latter category which, as alluded to above, have since given rise to a head-turning statistic.
As revealed by statisticians Sofascore, Ceballos found his intended target with all but one of his 102 attempted passes against Atlético, for a completion percentage of 99.
