OGC Nice interested in former Lille forward Yusuf Yazıcı

OGC Nice are short of attacking options. Terem Moffi suffered an ACL injury during pre-season, whilst Jérémie Boga is also currently sidelined, altough he is expected soon.

Sofiane Diop is a long-term absentee and he is now joined on the sidelines by Gaëtan Laborde. The former Stade Rennais forward suffered a fractured metetarsal in training on Friday, the club confirmed. He is expected to miss several weeks, even several months of action.

As a result, Nice look set to be active in the market in the next week. Given their lack of depth upfront, a centre-forward does look to be a priority for Franck Haise’s side. RMC Sport understands that Le Gym are interested in Yusuf Yazıcı (27), who is a free agent following the expiry of his contract at Lille OSC earlier this summer.

Yazıcı, who has also reportedly garnered interest from AC Milan, managed by now-former Lille manager Paulo Fonseca, is also coveted by two unnamed clubs, as per RMC Sport.
