Wolves have appointed Spanish coach Julen Lopetegui as their new manager. The Premier League side announced the news on their social media channels on Saturday morning.
Lopetegui brings a wealth of experience to Molineux, having previously managed Real Madrid and Sevilla.
He will begin his first Premier League role on Monday 14 November when he officially takes charge.
On October 5, Sevilla announced the sacking of Lopetegui after their 4-1 Champions League defeat to Borussia Dortmund. Jorge Sampaoli has since replaced the Basque coach at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán.
Struggling Wolves
Wolves are struggling in the Premier League and currently sit second-bottom on just 10 points after 13 games. Leicester City (11 points), Southampton (12), Aston Villa (12) and Leeds (12) are all ahead of them.
At Sevilla, he took charge of 170 games, winning a UEFA Europa League title, and guiding the club to their highest top flight points record.
He is only behind Joaquín Caparrós, Unai Emery, Manolo Cardo and Ramón Encinas in the all-time managerial appearance list.
