Toulouse have this afternoon announced the signing of Spanish goalkeeper Álex Domínguez from Las Palmas, with the 24-year-old becoming Les Violets‘ fifth signing of the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old has joined from the Canarians for an undisclosed fee, while the club have not indicated the length of his contract either.
Last season, the Catalan shot-stopped made eight league appearances as the team were promoted from the second division. He had been loaned out to Ibiza the previous season, and has spent time in the reserve teams of Sabadell, Espanyol, and Deportivo Alavés.
Toulouse had been in the market for a goalkeeper following the departure of Maxime Dupé on a free transfer, with the 30-year-old Frenchman having joined Anderlecht. Domínguez could be set for a starting spot with the Ligue 1 outfit. He joins a growing contingent of Spaniard at Toulouse, which includes new manager Carles Martínez Novell, his assistants, and another new arrival in midfielder César Gélabert.
