Official: Silas extends Stuttgart deal

VfB Stuttgart have confirmed that Silas Katompa Mvumpa has extended his contract.

On the first day of 2023, VfB Stuttgart have announced that Silas Katompa Mvumpa has signed a new contract with the club.
The Congolese forward’s new deal with ‘Die Schwaben’ runs until 2026.

“We are very pleased that Silas has extended his contract with VfB ahead of schedule. With his speed and scoring ability, Silas is an important factor in our offensive game,” said Stuttgart sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth.

“There is still further potential in him, which we want to develop together with him in the coming months and years.”

Silas Katompa Mvumpa commented:

“I would like to thank those responsible at VfB for the trust they have placed in me. I feel very comfortable here. The club offers me a very good environment to continue to improve. I want to be successful with VfB and its great fans.”

Silas has played 83 games for Stuttgart since 2019 with 25 goals and 15 assists to his name.
