In an official statement, RC Strasbourg Alsace have confirmed that Sanjin Prcic (30) has left the Ligue 1 club by mutual consent.
Prcic had played just 87 minutes of football all season, with his last game coming against OGC Nice at the start of September. He is completely marginalised at the club, despite his salary, which was the second-highest amongst the playing squad. Only Abakar Sylla earned more.

It was an unsustainable situation and one that certainly needed resolving. As reported by L’Équipe in late March, the midfielder was set for a meeting with the club’s hierarchy in order to facilitate an exit. That meeting, between the Bosnian midfielder and Marc Keller, has now had the desired effect. Prcic, whose contract had been set to run until the end of the 2024/25 season, has been terminated by mutual consent, the club has confirmed.
In their statement, Les Alsaciens wished Prcic, who won the Coupe de la Ligue with the club back in 2019, the best of luck in the future.
