Nordi Mukiele’s switch to Paris St. Germain is now official.

After precisely 100 Bundesliga appearances, Montreuil native Nordi Mukiele is headed back home. The 24-year-old old completed his switch to PSG early on Monday evening. With a total of ten goals and 11 assists for Leipzig in 145 appearances across all competitions, the Frenchman cracks the top 15 of RB’s all-time performers.
Accordingly, there were multiple tributes from the German Red Bulls on social media. Mukiele himself waved goodbye to the local fanbase on Monday evening. The Saxons published further comments from the player thanking the RB faithful for all their support on the club’s twitter feed.
The latest on the reported transfer fee holds that the base amount lies around €12 million with an additional €3 million attainable in performance bonuses. These figures are reported by Sky Germany. Mukiele joined Die Roten Bullen on an €16 million transfer from Montpellier in 2018.
His new contract runs through 2027.
