AS Monaco have officially announced the signing of Mika Biereth (21) from Austrian outfit SK Sturm Graz.
The Danish U21 who was born in London developed in the Arsenal academy system. However, he never made a professional appearance for his formative club. He was sent out on loans to RKC Waalwijk in Belgium, Motherwell in Scotland, and Sturm Graz for the second half of last season.
Last summer, he made his move to Austria permanent as Sturm Graz spent nearly €5 million on the forward. It’s proven to be a smart investment for the club as Biereth registered 14 goals and five assists in 25 appearances across all competitions.
