Leeds United have announced the signing of Marc Roca from Bayern Munich.
The 25-year-old midfielder completed his medical today ahead of putting pen to paper on a four-year deal at Elland Road.
The Spaniard flew into England from Spain last night to complete the move from Bayern.
Roca is a former Spain Under-21 international who came through the youth team at Espanyol.
An impressive spell in the Espanyol first team led to his move to Bayern after the Catalan club were relegated from La Liga for the first time in 26 years in 2020.
During his time in Germany, Bayern won the Bundesliga twice and the FIFA Club World Cup.
He becomes Leeds’ third summer signing. The Yorkshire club have already confirmed the signings of Rasmus Kristensen (24) and Brenden Aaronson (21) from Red Bull Salzburg.
“Leeds United can today announce Marc Roca will join the club on July 1st 2022 after an agreement was reached with FC Bayern Munich.
“The 25-year-old will join on a four-year contract running until the summer of 2026, for an undisclosed fee,” Leeds said in a statement.
