Lyon have signed Denmark U21 international midfielder Noah Nartey (20) from Brøndby, both clubs have confirmed. Nartey has logged four goals and three assists this Superligaen campaign. The 20-year-old was reportedly a long-term target for Lyon, and Les Gones have finally got their man. Nartey has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal with the Ligue 1 club. Lyon’s outlay for Nartey could rise to €10m.
Les Gones were in the market for attacking reinforcements during this winter transfer window. They have already signed Real Madrid centre-forward Endrick on loan. Angers midfielder Hamid Abdelli was also in their sights, but the Algerian international has his heart set on a move to Marseille. Lyon play Young Boys this Thursday in the Europa League.
