Portuguese head coach Luis Castro wasted no time in finding a route back into management after being relieved of his duties at FC Nantes. The former USL Dunkerque manager has been appointed head coach of Levante UD, who sits bottom of La Liga.
Luis Castro was reportedly considered by Ligue 2 side AS Saint-Etienne. L’Equipe understands that talks have switfly accelerated between the Portuguese head coach and Levante over a one-and-a-half year deal, with a further year in option.
With Nantes, Castro only led Les Canaris to two wins in 15 games. He was replaced last week by Ahmed Kantari.
