Official | Kevin Mbabu has signed for Fulham from VfL Wolfsburg

Kevin Mbabu has put pen to paper and officially completed his move to Fulham from VfL Wolfsburg.

The defender has signed a contract with the newly-promoted Premier League side until 2025.

It’s reported that Fulham paid €6m for the Switerzland international.

With his contract at Wolfsburg expiring next summer a move for Mbabu was always likely.

A move to London and the Premier League is an exciting opportunity for the player to test his abilities in one of the most competitive leagues in the world.

Since his move from BSC Young Boys in 2019, Mbabu has played 66 Bundesliga games for Wolfsburg across three years. Given the signing of Kilian Fischer and Ridle Baku at the club, it’s apparent that the Swiss right-back isn’t in Niko Kovač’s plans for the 2022/23 season.

It’s Mbabu’s second stint in England having already played for Newcastle United between 2013 and 2016.
