Juventus have officially signed Poland and Marseille striker Arkadiusz Milik on an initial loan deal.
The Bianconeri had been hunting for a back-up option for Dusan Vlahovic this summer, especially after the exit of Alvaro Morata. Their attempts to bring the player back on a permanent basis failed, as they couldn’t agree a fee with Atletico Madrid over the transfer window.
Attempts to sign Memphis Depay also failed due to the Dutchman’s high wage demands, even though he was willing to move to Juve.
The Bianconeri have confirmed that Milik has arrived on an initial loan deal, with Juve having the option to buy him permanently next summer.
The loan fee is said to be €1 million, with the Old Lady having the option to buy for about €7 million. An agreement with Marseille was reached well in advance and personal terms were agreed yesterday with the Pole’s entourage. He will now be the club’s back-up option to Vlahovic.
