Official | Julian Nagelsmann announces complete Germany squad for Euro 2024

Julian Nagelsmann has today announced his complete Germany squad for Euro 2024 after a roll-out campaign of several players in the days proceeding today.

Aleksander Pavlovic, Maximilian Beier and Alexander Nübel are the ‘debutants’ as Beier and Pavlovic have both previously been called up to the national team in the March international break but did not make an appearance. While Nübel receives his first-ever call-up to the national team due to his performances with Stuttgart this season.

The most notable absentee will be Mats Hummels. The Borussia Dortmund defender has been one of the club’s best centre-backs as they progressed to an unlikely Champions League final. Instead, Nagelsmann has opted for Eintracht Frankfurt’s Robin Koch.

In preparation for the Euros which kick off in less than a month, Germany will play two warm-up games against Ukraine (Nürnberg) and Greece (Mönchengladbach) before kicking off their tournament on the 7th June against Scotland in Munich, before games against Hungary (Stuttgart) and Switzerland (Frankfurt).
