Bayern Munich have today announced the contract extension of 19-year-old central-defender Jamie Lawrence by two years until 2026 before loaning him to Magdeburg for the next two seasons.
“Jamie has made promising development with us and recently even led out U23s onto the first as captain,” said Bayern campus manager Jochen Sauer. “We are convinced of his potential and that he has found the right club for the next few years in Magdeburg.”
Lawrence added: “I would like to thank Bayern for the trust and this new long-term contract.”
The 2.00m tall defender joined Bayern from Kirchheimer SC in 2017 and played 32 games for Bayern II in the Regionalliga last season.
