Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen have today announced the signing of 19-year-old forward Adam Hložek from Sparta Prague for a reported €13m plus bonuses.
The Czech Republic international has signed a five-year contract with Die Werkself until 2027.
Sparta Prague also secured a clause that would see them receive 30% of any additional transfer fees that B04 receive should they sell him in the future.
“Adam Hložek is a player who can develop a great goal threat from a central position and also from the wing,” said sporting director Simon Rolfes. “His versatility, power and above all, his ability to finish will give our offensive game even more variation.”
Hložek scored nine and created 14 in 33 league games for Sparta Prague last season.
