TSG Hoffenheim centre-back Tim Drexler has joined 2. Bundesliga outfit 1. FC Nürnberg on loan for the remainder of the season.
Having slipped down the pecking order since the season began, the centre-back is hoping to play more regularly at Nürnberg.
“My aim is to get as playing game time as possible and help the team as much as I can with my qualities,” said Drexler.
“Now it’s about getting to know the boys as quickly as possible and playing a good second half of the season together, which I’m really looking forward to.”
Drexler has made eight Bundesliga appearances for Hoffenheim this season. His last appearance was on 10 November, when he came off the bench.
