Werder Bremen striker Marvin Ducksch has apparently attracted interest from the Premier League.

According to Sport Bild, Nottingham Forest are “very keen” on the 29-year-old, who made his Germany debut this month.

Should he join the Premier League club, Ducksch could see his salary double from the €2 million plus bonuses he now earns at Werder.

Although Ducksch recently extended his contract with Werder until 2026, a move is not out of the question, according to Sport Bild, who claims that the striker could move on as early as January if the offer is right.

Werder are reportedly hoping for a fee similar to the €15 million plus bonuses they received for Niclas Füllkrug when he was sold to Borussia Dortmund last summer.

Füllkrug has been in excellent form for Werder this season, having contributed to 10 goals (six goals, four assists) in 12 appearances.
