Bild and kicker report that there is no offer or negotiations yet from Bayern Munich for VfB Stuttgart striker Nick Woltemade.
It has been a week since it was revealed that Bayern had agreed on personal terms with the 23-year-old over a move this summer. Despite Woltemade participating in the U21 Euros final last Saturday, there have still yet no talks on a fee.
Negotiations will likely be difficult as Stuttgart’s asking price for Woltemade is €80m, while Bayern are unwilling to pay more than €50m for the 23-year-old. On top of this, the striker has a contract at the MHP Arena until 2028, meaning there is very little reason for Stuttgart to sell this summer, and Woltemade also had little leeway to force a move.
Recently, a call between the CEOs of Bayern and Stuttgart took place, but there was no mention of a sum being discussed.
