Contrary to reports, Borussia Dortmund are not preparing an offer for Andrea Belotti, according to Sky Germany. The 28-year-old Italian forward is without a club after his contract with Torino expired.
BVB don’t want to commit to signing a new striker to compensate for Sébastien Haller until they have clarity on the French-Ivorian’s health. The Bundesliga club announced on Monday that Haller had left the club’s Bad Ragaz training camp after feeling unwell and during examinations, a testicular tumour was discovered.
Haller has already completed step 1 of his recover but Borussia Dortmund will wait on a full diagnosis before deciding whether to go back in the transfer market to compensate for forward.
As reported on Wednesday, former Liverpool, Barcelona and Atlético Madrid forward Luis Suarez was offered to Borussia Dortmund whilst Edin Džeko, who has one-year remaining on his current Inter deal, has also been linked with BVB and would cost a small transfer fee.
