Justin Njinmah will require surgery on an ankle injury and will be out for a number of weeks.

Werder Bremen have been rocked by the news that Justin Njinmah is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
The Bundesliga side confirmed on Wednesday that the striker will have to undergo ankle surgery and be sidelined for several weeks.
“We’ve had various examinations carried out on Justin’s ankle and an intra-articular loose body was found, which was causing the problems and will now be removed surgically,” said Werder Bremen head of professional football Clemens Fritz.
“It’s really bad news for Justin and for us, but we’re hopeful that Justin will be back on the pitch by the end of the season,” he added.
Njinmah has enjoyed a breakthrough season with Werder, scoring six goals and providing two assists in 24 appearances.
