Niklas Süle’s availability for the friendly against France is in doubt after the defender left the German camp for the birth of his second child.
Germany might have to manage without Niklas Süle when they face France in a friendly in Dortmund on Tuesday night.
According to multiple reports, Süle has left the German camp as his wife is due to give birth to the couple’s second child.
This means that Süle is likely to miss tomorrow’s game, although it can’t be completely ruled out that he will play. After all, the game will be played in Dortmund, close to where he lives.
Süle was called into the squad for the first time since the World Cup and started in the 1-4 loss to Japan on Saturday.
