Nicolas Jackson will join Bournemouth from Villarreal for around €25m, including add-ons, and will see his wages double on a 4-5 year contract, according to Nacho Sanchis of Relevo.
Jackson joined Villarreal from Senegalese side Casa Sports in the summer of 2019 and after three-and-a-half years at the La Liga club, he now looks set for a move to the Premier League.
The 21-year-old has netted three goals in 24 games in all competitions for the Yellow Submarine this season.
Bournemouth, who currently sit in 18th place in La Liga, will welcome the young forward to the UK before he undergoes his medical and completes his move to the Cherries on what will reportedly be a four-year deal.
Bournemouth’s Premier League rivals Southampton had a bid for Jackson below the €20m asking price rejected last week.
The young forward was also a part of the Senegal squad at the 2022 World Cup and made his debut for his country during the tournament.
Arnaut Danjuma is another Villarreal forward that is set to leave La Cerámica and join Everton before the end of the January transfer window.
