Antonio José Raíllo, captain of Mallorca, has spoken in an interview with Diario de Mallorca and took the opportunity to send a message to Vinícius.
The message comes after all the controversy that arose in the Madrid derby. On 11 October, Real Madrid and Mallorca met at the Santiago Bernabéu, with the home side winning 4-1. Vinícius scored the second goal of the game, a match in which the Brazilian clashed with the rival bench.
According to Cadena Ser, the confrontation stemmed from alleged shouts from the bench. However, two weeks later, Raíllo has come out and said: “Vinícius can dance but he shouldn’t insult or belittle his fellow professionals”.
The comments went viral in a matter of hours and in Brazil, the media outlet TNT Sports echoed them. The Instagram post where the media published the statements did not go unnoticed and Neymar did not miss the opportunity to come to the defence of his Brazil team-mate Vinícius. The PSG forward wrote: “Who is Raíllo?” followed by a laughing face emoji.
