In a recent report, Sport1 claimed that Newcastle United are facing stiff competition for Hoffenheim left-back David Raum this summer. It has been mentioned that the Magpies will have to rival Manchester United and West Ham United in pursuit of the German defender in this off-season.

The 24-year-old had an excellent campaign in Germany recently as he was responsible for performing at a high level on the left side of Hoffenheim’s defence. Raum scored three goals and secured 13 assists in 35 matches for the German club last season in various competitions.
