The midfielder with a reported €9m release clause is in talks with Newcastle over a potential move, according to Sport Witness.
Newcastle are reportedly willing to offer over the release clause to secure their target.
The defensive midfielder has been impressive for Velez over in Argentina and it seems like it’s a matter of time before he makes the move to Europe, with Newcastle his likely destination.
