In contrast to Thomas Müller, Manuel Neuer is not considering retiring from the German national team.

Manuel Neuer has insisted he’s not thinking about retiring from the national team following Germany’s World Cup elimination.
While Thomas Müller indicated that tonight’s game against Costa Rica may be his last for Germany, 36-year-old Neuer wants to keep playing for his country.

“If I’m asked and continue to be called up, I’ll come,” Neuer told Sport1 after tonight’s 4-2 win.

Neuer has made a total of 117 appearances for Germany.
