Germany will have to manage without Manuel Neuer when they face France (Saturday) and the Netherlands (Tuesday) in two warm-up matches ahead of Euro 2024.
The German Football Association revealed on Wednesday that Neuer has picked up a muscle strain in his left adductor.
As a result, the Bayern veteran has left the team headquarters near Frankfurt to head back to Munich for treatment.
Neuer’s Bayern teammate Aleksandar Pavlovic has previously been forced to pull out of the squad, with the 19-year-old sidelined due to tonsilitis.
