Ex-RB Leipzig player Diego Demme is keen to leave Napoli this winter and could find himself back in the Bundesliga, according to RB Live. The half-German, half-Italian moved to Napoli in 2020 but has recently become a spare part at his club. This could be partially down to only recovering from a broken foot in the summer and Napoli’s management looking elsewhere for cover. So far this season, Demme has only featured three times in Serie A and a total of just 20 minutes.
With this situation, some Bundesliga clubs are possibly interested in signing the midfield engine in this winter’s transfer window. As per the report, both Hoffenheim and Eintracht Frankfurt are interested in Diego Demme. Hoffenheim will be on the lookout for an additional midfielder since Grischa Prömel broke his ankle.
However, Spanish clubs including Valencia and also monitoring the situation. The likelihood is that Demme will leave this winter either on a permanent transfer or loan to Germany or Spain.
