Serie A side Napoli look keen on signing another striker in January and one name of interest to them is Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran
Victor Osimhen is on loan at Galatasaray and is soon going to be moved on by the Partenopei. Il Mattino today(via TMW) state that because of Antonio Conte’s need, the Serie A title challengers will sign a new striker next month and Duran is a key target.
The move is already being attempted by the club and that is being done through a series of intermediaries, who have currently offered Napoli the preferential lane in the move. A fee of 40m will not be enough for Napoli to sign the 21-year-old striker, who was on the scoresheet against Man City some days ago.
Villa also do not want to sell Duran in January and it will take something special for an exit to go through. Napoli will only wait for Osimhen’s sale to earn cash and it could make their move come alive. Joshua Zirkzee is another target for Napoli and all of it depends on whether Manchester United open up to a move or not.
