Whilst I Partenopei are eager to prolong the Georgian phenomenon’s stay at the Stadio Diego Maradona, both Napoli and star winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia are currently at stand-still within the negotiation talks.
Journalist Luca Marchetti reports, via CalcioNapoli1926, that at the moment Napoli have offered a €6m per-season deal to the 23 year-old. However, Kvaratskhelia is seeking a salary of €8m per-season in order extend his time in Naples.
With quite a significant gap, it may take until the end of October for both parties to reach an agreement that satisfies both ends of the deal.
It is expected that Napoli will increase their bid, and could potentially use a reasonable release clause to unblock the negotiations as a rational exit plan may please the Georgian international if ever he seeks to part-ways.
So far this season, Kvaratskhelia has been in stellar form under coach Antonio Conte, amassing three goals and two assists in seven games-played for the Azzurri in the Serie A thus far.
