Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann has provided an injury update on Sadio Mané, saying that he’s “not yet considering him” for the first leg of the Champions League tie with Paris Saint-Germain on 14 February.
Even if Mané’s recovery from the leg injury that kept him out of the World Cup is progressing well, but Nagelsmann is not convinced that the 30-year-old will be fit for the clash with the French champions.
“He’s an important player. If everything goes well, then it could be the case that he returns in time for PSG,” Nagelsmann said at a press conference today.
“We will see how he reacts to the workload. Personally, I’m not yet considering him for the first leg.”
