The German Football Association (DFB) has now contacted Julian Nagelsmann regarding the possibility of him taking over as Germany coach, according to Sport1.

And as per the German media outlet, the former Bayern coach can “well imagine” taking the job.

The report claims that Nagelsmann sees the chance to coach Germany at home at the upcoming European Championship as a unique opportunity.

Nagelsmann was dismissed as Bayern coach back in March, but remains under contract with the German champions until 2026.

But according to reports, Bayern won’t stand in the way of Nagelsmann and the DFB if they have a mutual interest in working together.
