Speaking in a press conference, AS Monaco Sporting Director Thiago Scuro has said that Myron Boadu (22) could leave the club before the transfer deadline.
The Dutch striker has struggled for form and fitness since his €17m move from AZ Alkmaar in the summer of 2021. In 60 matches for Monaco, he has 10 goals, including an equaliser against FC Nantes a fortnight ago. However, with the arrival of Folarin Balogun (22) from Arsenal, Boadu has been pushed down the pecking order, and Scuro admitted that the player could leave before the closure of the window.
“There is a possibility for him to go. There are some situations being discussed, but it depends on many details that need to be sorted in the next few hours,” said Scuro in a press conference attended by Get French Football News. The Italian press have linked Boadu with moves to Bologna and Salernitana.
