VfB Stuttgart defender Kostas Mavropanos has reacted to reports suggesting he has attracted interest from other sides, including Atletico Madrid.
“I don’t know anything about interest from other clubs. My head is only in Stuttgart,” Mavropanos claimed in an interview with Kicker.
However, despite Mavropanos’ statement, Stuttgart would consider letting the 25-year-old leave if a really lucrative offer were to come in, per Kicker.
Speaking to the German football magazine, Mavropanos also confirmed that he’s feeling good after returning from an adductor injury a few days ago.
“I’m fine, I feel good,” he said.
“I am now completely back in team training and gradually getting back into my rhythm. It’s going forward step by step.”
