Germany wonderkid Jamal Musiala has revealed how he feels about being likened to Lionel Messi.
Bayern Munich and Germany star Jamal Musiala has reacted to comparisons with Lionel Messi.
“I think comparisons with Messi are always an honor,” Musiala told reporters at a press conference today.
“But Messi has been playing at a top level his whole life. It’s a bit difficult to compare anyone with Messi. I want to focus on myself and what I can do better as Jamal.”
19-year-old Musiala could make his World Cup debut against Japan on Wednesday, while Messi, 35, is taking part in his fifth World Cup tournament with Argentina.
