Kolo Muani’s first-half double helped Eintracht Frankfurt to a 2-0 win over Union Berlin in the DFB-Pokal quarter-finals.

Eintracht Frankfurt became the first team to reach the semi-finals of the DFB-Pokal this season, beating Union Berlin 2-0 at Deutsche Bank Park tonight.

Mario Gotze set up Kolo Muani for two goals in quick succession early in the first half to secure the win.

Muani has now been involved in 34 goals in 36 appearances in all competitions for Eintracht this season.

Rafael Borré later had a goal disallowed for offside and hit the woodwork as ‘Die Adler’ ended an eight-match winless streak with a 2-0 victory.
