Moussa Diaby has refused to rule out a move away from Bayer Leverkusen this summer.
“In my thoughts, I would like to move to a club that is competing to win the Champions League – the big games,” the Bayer Leverkusen winger told reporters at the French national team camp today.
After the international break, Diaby wants to “sit down with my agent and family to discuss everything else”.
Staying at Leverkusen is also an option, he emphasized.
“It’s possible that I’ll stay,” stated the French winger.
In his future planning, Diaby said, the 2022 World Cup in particular plays a major role, and he wants to give himself the best possible chances of earning a place in the French squad for the tournament.
“It will be a difficult decision,” admitted Diaby, who is still tied to ‘Die Werkself’ until 2025.
Diaby has recently been linked with a move to Newcastle United in particular.
