Monza are now set to sign former Inter man Andrea Ranocchia on a free transfer.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Ranocchia has found a two-year agreement with Monza and he has given his approval for the move. The move is set to go through, after his exit from Inter following the expiry of his contract.
It is stated that the medical for the player will take place on Saturday and the Italian will sign a deal with the newly-promoted Serie A outfit after that. The completion of the deal is not expected to take much time.
Now 34, Ranocchia spent the 2021/22 season on the fringes of the first team and could make only six Serie A appearances. He had been at the club since 2011 and on the way, he spent loan deals at Sampdoria and even spent a temporary stint at English side Hull City.
