AS Monaco defender Kassoum Ouattara (20) has been the subject of an approach from Fenerbahçe, according to a report from L’Équipe.
The Frenchman faces tough competition to hold down a place in Monaco’s starting line-up. He is in competition with Caio Henrique and Christian Mawissa for a spot and, as a result, he has been limited to 15 appearances in all competitions this season. Only six of those have been starts, whilst the France youth international is yet to make a start in the UEFA Champions League.
Monaco could make Truffert move
However, Monaco are not open to sanctioning a departure, it would seem. As per L’Équipe, the Principality club have rejected a loan offer, with an almost compulsory purchase option worth €9m, from Turkish club Fenerbahçe.
Should one of Les Monégasques’ left-backs depart before the closure of the transfer window, they would make a move for Stade Rennais’ Adrien Truffert (23).
