AS Monaco will welcome Maghnes Akliouche back to the fold as they seek to overturn a one-goal deficit in their UEFA Champions League play-off and progress at Paris Saint-Germain’s expense.
Akliouche was involved in last week’s 3-2 loss to PSG, albeit he was not at 100%, and he then missed the weekend win over RC Lens. But he is once again adjudged to be fit and he is expected to start. There are still plenty of absentees for Monaco, including Lukas Hradecky, Eric Dier, Mohammed Salisu, Kassoum Ouattara, Krépin Diatta, and Takumi Minamino. Paul Pogba, meanwhile, is ineglible, having been dropped from the Principality club’s Champions League squad.
There could be a place in the midfield for Aladji Bamba. The academy product could start in place of Jordan Teze. Aleksandr Golovin misses out through suspension, having been sent off in the first leg.
