Mohamed Salah (32) is on the verge of extending his contract with Liverpool FC, according to Foot Mercato. The Egypt international winger is out of contract next June, which put clubs on red alert to acquire his services as a free agent. Saudi Pro League sides were notably associated with Salah’s signing from June and beyond. PSG and Barcelona were also said to monitor the winger’s situation. But Salah is now on the verge of putting pen to paper over a new deal with Liverpool.
Salah will reportedly sign a new two-year contract, which means that he would spend a decade on Merseyside as he was signed from AS Roma in 2017. Contract terms are reportedly unknown but it appears that Salah would get what he wants from the Premier League table-topping side. Liverpool centre-back Virgil van Dijk and right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold are also out of contract next june, and the latter is touted with a move to Real Madrid. Liverpool will host Everton tonight at Anfield.
