Two Bundesliga players have been forced to withdraw from the France Under-21 squad.
It was announced on Wednesday that Stuttgart’s Enzo Millot and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Hugo Ekitiké will both miss the team’s upcoming matches against Italy and Germany due to injury.
As confirmed by VfB Stuttgart, Millot is suffering from a knee problem. It’s unclear whether he will be able to play in the upcoming Bundesliga match against Bochum.
Meanwhile, Ekitiké’s withdrawal was announced by the French Football Federation, who didn’t specify the nature of his injury.
