Serie A side Milan witnessed a debacle involving Theo Hernandez in the Champions League yesterday and it now seems as if the Frenchman is set to depart in the summer.
La Gazzetta dello Sport today have reported that a renewal for the left-back has been on standstill for weeks now. He has demanded wages close to what Rafael Leao earns and he wants to be the highest-paid player in the squad.
The feeling is that an offer of that kind will not arrive from Milan, who have doubts about the player after noticing the ongoing season’s chaos. They were also happy to sell the player to Como in January but it was the player who rejected the approach.
It now seems as if the story involving Milan and Theo Hernandez is over, especially considering this summer will be Milan’s last chance to earn from his sale. They would execute that and sign a potential replacement.
