Milan’s move for Sven Botman is now struggling to take off after Newcastle United have come in strongly for him.
While it has been reported that the Lille defender has already agreed personal terms with the Rossoneri, Lille are trying to start an auction in the Premier League for the Dutchman.
MilanNews have claimed that Milan’s move for Botman is now at a ‘stalemate’ and it is struggling to take off. While the player wants to move to Milan, the Rossoneri are now studying alternative moves for the position. The first name on their shortlist is that of Bremer, who would like to play for Milan.
Torino want 25 million for the Brazilian, with Il Toro not looking to incite a bidding war for him. Bremer has had several contacts with Inter but he still wouldn’t mind joining Milan and he wouldn’t rule out a move to the Premier League – especially Tottenham. If nothing else works out, Milan would look to make Pierre Kalulu their regular centre-back option.
