Torino star Alessandro Buongiorno is very unlikely to move to Milan in the January transfer window.
The Rossoneri have been linked with a move for the Italian in their hunt for a new defender to bolster their backline and there has been talk of the club considering a cash plus player bid.
Antonio Vitiello has now reported that a move to Milan seems highly unlikely this month for Buongiorno. The cost has proved to be a major blow, with Torino looking at over €30 million to sell the Italy defender. Il Toro president Urbano Cairo has stated multiple times that he does not intend to part ways with the club star this month and there is a doubt about whether Buongiorno himself would accept an exit in January.
Two other names are on Milan’s shortlist. Lilian Brassier remains a target but Milan would only execute a deal for him on their terms. Another target is Sevilla’s Tanguy Kouassi, with the Rossoneri currently considering whether they should make an attempt for him or not.
