Milan are now increasingly optimistic about signing Nicolo Zaniolo from Roma this month.
The Rossoneri have failed to meet Roma’s asking price and conditions to sign the Italian but Daniele Longo has reported the Diavolo hopes are now increasing. Not just Milan, but Roma are also hopeful now that a deal could be done and Zaniolo’s demands of a move will be met.
The two clubs are working on an loan deal of €2 million and must find a solution on the option to buy for a total of €23 million, with bonuses included. It would become an obligation to buy under certain conditions.
Optimism is filtering through from the talks that the deal can be done soon. Tottenham were previously interested but they never met the demands of the Giallorossi.
