Milan injury update ahead of Fiorentina clash

Updates on the fitness of a whole host of Milan stars have been provided on Tuesday afternoon.

Stefano Pioli’s squad has of course been hit hard by the injury bug of late, giving rise to a concerning stretch of just one win in six.

Such woes have seen Milan fall off the pace atop the Serie A table, now sitting a full eight points adrift of city rivals Inter.

Safe to say, then, that all of a Rossoneri persuasion will be desperate for as many of the club’s sidelined stars to be fit and available as possible on the far side of the international break.

And, on Tuesday, an insight into exactly which members of Pioli’s ranks are in line for a return has been provided. As per a report from Calciomercato, all of Christian Pulisic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Simon Kjaer are expected to be at the disposal of their boss against Fiorentina on November 25th.

On the other hand, captain Davide Calabria remains a major doubt, after pulling out of the Italian national squad with a hamstring problem.

Olivier Giroud is suspended, whilst all of Ismaël Bennacer, Marco Sportiello and, crucially, Rafael Leão are in line to miss out owing to respective injuries.
