The powers that be at Juventus are continuing to keep a close eye on the services of Strasbourg star Habib Diarra.
That’s according to TuttomercatoWeb’s Marco Conterio, who, on Tuesday, has provided a fresh insight into the situation of the midfielder.
The name of youngster Diarra of course took its place centre stage in the headlines in Turin during the summer transfer window. This came amid Juve’s ongoing search for reinforcements in the middle of the park.
The 19-year-old, for his part, is widely considered to be one of the finest up-and-coming talents in France, with his performances last season having piqued the attentions of the Old Lady.
In the end, a deal failed to come to fruition, but, evidently, the Bianconeri are not yet ready to give up on Diarra’s signature.
As per the aforementioned Marco Conterio, Cristiano Giuntoli remains a huge fan of the talents of the France youth international.
Juve have remained in touch with both Strasbourg and Diarra’s entourage over the last couple of weeks, with a view to a potential January bid.
